Daats is an impressive 5-year-old Friesian/Percheron Draft Cross gelding standing 16 hands tall with a striking jet-black coat, substantial bone, and a powerful build. Weighing approximately 1,350 lbs, Daats combines the beauty of the Friesian with the strength and reliability of the Percheron, making him an exceptional all-around partner.

Daats is well-trained both under saddle and in harness. He has experience pulling buggies, sleighs, and driving in parades, remaining calm and confident around traffic, crowds, and noisy environments. Whether you’re looking for a dependable driving horse or a versatile riding partner, Daats is ready to impress.

On the trail, Daats is steady, brave, and incredibly sure-footed. He confidently crosses creeks, logs, ditches, rocky terrain, and steep hills with ease. He has countless trail miles and is comfortable around wildlife, livestock, dogs, and busy roads. Whether riding alone or with a group, he maintains a relaxed and willing attitude.

In the arena, Daats has smooth, comfortable gaits with an easy jog, slow balanced lope, responsive stop, backup, and correct lead departures. He rides with a soft feel, lopes nice circles, and is enjoyable for long days in the saddle.

Daats has excellent ground manners and is easy to catch, saddle, groom, bathe, load, haul, shoe, and handle for the veterinarian. He stands quietly tied, gets along well with other horses, and has no bad habits or vices. He is not cold-backed, cinchy, or prone to unwanted behaviors.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, powerful, and dependable draft cross that excels on the trail, in harness, or around the farm, Daats is ready to become your next trusted partner.
