$7,700

He is confidently trained to ride and drive, performing beautifully in both English and Western disciplines. Responsive to leg cues, he picks up his leads with ease, lopes smooth circles, has a dependable stop, backs willingly, and even opens and closes gates with confidence. Whether you’re working in the arena or enjoying a relaxed ride, he is soft, willing, and enjoyable every step of the way.

On the trail, Michael West is calm, brave, and dependable. He confidently crosses water, bridges, logs, and rough terrain while remaining sure-footed and relaxed. He is comfortable riding alone or in a group and stays quiet around traffic, wildlife, dogs, and farm equipment.

As a driving horse, Michael West is equally impressive. He is experienced in harness, drives confidently through traffic, and is safe and reliable for leisurely carriage drives or everyday enjoyment.

His outstanding temperament makes him a pleasure to own. He can be ridden bareback, double, or simply in a halter and lead rope. He loads, hauls, bathes, stands quietly tied, and is excellent for the farrier and veterinarian. He gets along well with other horses and has excellent ground manners.

Michael West is 100% sound, registered, current on vaccinations and Coggins, and has no bad habits or vices. If you’re looking for a dependable, versatile, and eye-catching Friesian Sport Horse that is ready for trails, driving, or pleasure riding, Michael West is an outstanding choice.
